Olorogun Jaro Egbo, the Executive Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council, has extended warm congratulations to the newly elected PDP Chairman of Ughelli North LGA, Comrade Lucky Ofomukoro, along with other members of the Executive.
In his message, delivered through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Efe Ekete, Egbo commended the executives for their well-deserved victory, stating, “Your leadership and dedication will undoubtedly propel our party to greater heights in the next four years.”
Egbo further advised the new executives to strengthen the party at the grassroots level by reaching out to aggrieved members who have left the party, encouraging them to return and contribute to building a unified and formidable PDP. “The umbrella is big enough to cover everybody,” Egbo emphasized.
He assured the new leadership of his support, expressing his readiness to work closely with them to deliver exceptional services to the people of Ughelli North and to ensure the growth and progress of the party.
“I wish you all a successful tenure and a rewarding experience in serving our great party at the local government level,” Egbo concluded.
Special recognition was given to Mrs. Okpamwa Daisy Elohor, the Executive Director of Delta Mothers Support Initiative (DMSI), who was celebrated by Chief Emmanuel Ogobene (JP) for her emergence as the Woman Leader-elect of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ughelli North Local Government Area.
Chief Ogobene, a member of the Delta State Advisory and Peace Building Council, expressed his joy and gratitude, saying, “Congratulations to my dear daughter, Mrs. Okpamwa Daisy Elohor, upon your victory today at Ughelli Township Stadium during the PDP local government congress as the Woman Leader of Ughelli North. May God Almighty lead and direct you always to success in Jesus’ Name. Amen.”
Similarly, in a statement signed and released by the media team of DMSI, the organization highlighted Mrs. Okpama’s qualities as a people-oriented leader, a person of great capacity, and an exceptional mobilizer with a high pedigree in social content.
“We are proud of you. Your genuineness and commitment to grassroots political development cannot be overemphasized,” the statement read. The Delta Mothers Support Initiative also prayed for God’s wisdom and strength for Mrs. Okpama as she takes on her new political responsibilities.
The election of the new PDP executives marks a significant step forward for the party in Ughelli North, as they prepare to lead the party toward greater achievements in the years ahead.
