In a solemn declaration from the Office of the President of the Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) Youth Wing, Activist Blessed Ughere extends condolences to the family of Olorogun Austin Oghenevwogaga Uloho, expressing profound sorrow over the sudden demise of the esteemed leader.
Olorogun Austin Oghenevwogaga Uloho, revered as the Osio r’igho of the prestigious Ughelli Kingdom and former 3rd Deputy President General of the Urhobo Progress Union (UPU), passed away on Thursday, 15th February, at the age of 73, after a brief illness. His departure has left an indelible mark not only on his family and the Ughelli kingdom but also on the entire Urhobo Nation.
Described as a towering figure, Olorogun Austin Uloho’s legacy encompasses vast knowledge, unwavering humility, and a fervent dedication to the betterment of his community. His contributions as a leader, businessman, and philanthropist have touched countless lives, earning him the respect and admiration of many.
In his words, the Osu ri’ghelle, further described the late Olorogun Austin Uloho as “a colossus, a reservoir of knowledge, an embodiment of humility, and patriotic Urhobo leader and businessman who has impacted many people positively during his lifetime.”
Reflecting on the profound loss, Activist Ughere Blessed, conveyed heartfelt prayers for the Uloho family, the people of Ughelli kingdom, and all those affected by this tragedy. He emphasized that while the pain of parting is deeply felt, there is solace in knowing that Olorogun Austin Uloho lived a life of purpose and service, leaving behind a lasting legacy of compassion and dedication.
“Even as we mourn our daddy today, let us take solace in the fact that our daddy lived an impactful life of service to humanity throughout his lifetime, and we are confident that he’s at the right hand of God in heaven”, Ughere further said.
