Otorho Orogun, Ughelli North L.G.A, Delta State, August 10, 2024 – Orogun Genetics Worldwide marked its first anniversary with a gala night at T20 Hotel, Otorho Orogun, where several prominent individuals were honoured for their contributions to the development of Orogun Kingdom, in line with the group’s commitment to preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Orogun.
In his opening address, Comrade Henry Efetobor said, “I have a mission and a calling to bring people together. Orogun Genetics is not the first group I’ve created; I also established the Orogun Political Forum. However, I realized that the Orogun Progress Union does not adequately capture the youth demographic. It became clear that it is wrong for our youths to remain disconnected.”
Among those recognized were Chief Do-Good O. Efe-Nogo JP, Chief Emmanuel Apinoko, Chief Dr. Edwin Achugbue, Hon. Matthew Onojighofia Omonade, Orogun First Child, and Urhobo Kpako TV. Each of these individuals received awards for their significant efforts in advancing the growth and unity of Orogun Kingdom.

Chief Emmanuel Apinoko, another award recipient, highlighted the significance of staying connected to one’s roots. He encouraged Orogun people to remember their heritage and not to fear returning home, stressing the importance of community unity and development.
Chief Apinoko, CEO of T-20 Hotels, has generously promised free honeymoon accommodations for Orogun Genetics members who get married. Additionally, he has offered a place to stay for members who visit Orogun but lack accommodation.
