Matthew Onojighofia Omonade, Esq., fulfilled his promise to recognize exceptional achievements among his constituents by hosting a breakfast for high-scoring candidates of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) at his Ughelli residence. The event was organized under the auspices of the Omonade Educational Support Program, which provided over five hundred free UTME forms to his constituents drawn from Agbarha, Evwreni, Ogor and Orogun.
In addition to giving cash gifts, Hon. Omonade encouraged the candidates to take their studies seriously to excel in the upcoming post-UTME exams. Reiterating his commitment to human capital development, in a chat with Oghwoghwa Reporters, Hon. Omonade stated, “The strength and wealth of every nation depend on the quality of its youth. Therefore, it is our duty to identify their potential and listen to their challenges and areas where they need support. This will enable us to address their problems effectively as their representatives.”
Later, Hon. Omonade, who is the Chairman of the House Committee on Public Petitions, met with the family of a constituent to celebrate with them on the reinstatement of their benefactor to civil service after an unjust two-year retirement.
